6+ Dying at 30% battery


my iphone has started die @ 30% battery remaining, every time. have heard supposed let battery drain reset battery gauge, can't because...if hit's 30% dies , have charge again.

plan on backing , restoring when chance, there else try first?
 

it's still under apple care - right? giving apple call. not normal.
