PIN code instead of AppleID PW?


does know if possible set pin code auth purchases on new apple tv 4 previous generations had? - real pain in a**e have enter lengthy appleid password using siri remote!
 

don't think so. set "never ask password anymore" avoid type in lengthy password each purchase. however, can imagine if have kids prefer not so.

imho combined intellectual force of apple design , billion-dollar (bean) counters @ apple should have come better solution, e.g. stick touchid sensor under home button on remote or somehow use ios device touchid approve purchase. have used sending 4-digit code ios device approve purchase, way easier typing in 20 letter password using touchpad.
