iCloud Backup iPhone 6S

i'm having bit of trouble iphone 6s icloud backups. ipad air 2 seems work fine. got message on phone iphone hasn't been backed 7 weeks goto manually , message "the last backup not completed".



googled issue , tried read online.

first thing did quick reset didn't work.

tried waiting out several days in case server issue.

tried deleting old backup , trying again. didn't work.

tried signing out of icloud , in, didn't work , massive headache. lost icloud photos (they restoring now) , cards in applepay needed reactivated. not recommend doing unless absolutely have too.

tried reseting network settings, didn't work , again massive headache. lost wifi , bluetooth information not on iphone every device (including imac) tied appleid. regretting long time.

other step can think of restore new. if getting work requires me not using , starting fresh point of in first place?

has run this, have suggestions?

i had issue occasionally, ever since ios 9 beta came out. don't think have solutions i'm still puzzled well. 1 thing did keep trying every time see dreaded "could not completed" message , cross fingers complete backup.

however, of yesterday, turned off icloud backup , doing backups using itunes. came realization icloud backup sole reason 6s draining it's battery , warm time; have phone charged 100%, killed apps, turn on airplane mode wi-fi only, , wake 65% battery. , battery section dared tell me i've been using phone last 3-4 hours. yeah, suppose instead of sleep-walking, i'm sleep-using-my-iphone.

note photos weren't backed part of icloud backup.
