Resolved Resize Internal SSD


i upgraded original internal 750gb disk drive new sandisk ultra ii 960gb ssd. before installing, cloned original drive new ssd. after install, realized there unallocated amount of free space (209.91gb) unintentional partitioned. i've tried resize drive numerous times via various tutorials , google searches no luck. can help?

specs:
2011 macbook pro 17"
osx 10.11 el captain

happens when try resize via internet recovery mode & disk utility:

positive it's internet recovery , not local recovery mode?

if yes, create new partition matching unallocated space. see if works. if does, delete again , see if can resize existing 1 then.
