USB Camera Adapter vs SD Card Reader for iPhone DSLR workflow


now it's supported in ios 9.2, i'm looking able use iphone loading photos off dslr camera (canon t3i). i'm trying decide whether usb camera adapter or sd card reader better option.

usb camera connection adapter i'm looking answer 2 questions: can use existing usb sd card adapter it? tethered shooting possible it?

i'm considering maybe on-the-go, connecting camera directly via usb may more convenient popping out sd card. use sd card reader mac, not sure how t3i direct usb connection.
