honeywell today announced first homekit-enabled product, introducing second-generation lyric round wi-fi-enabled thermostat homekit support. designed compete existing homekit-compatible thermostats the ecobee3 , idevices thermostat, honeywell lyric connects home's wi-fi network allow thermostat controlled via siri or using ios device , accompanying app.

new homekit-enabled lyric thermostat identical in design original lyric thermostat, featuring round body , 3-inch polished glass face displays current temperature , target temperature. includes touch screen interface changing temperature directly device, , offers motion-sensing illumination.
