Seprate computer account or app secruity?


hello, i'm thinking of upgrading 1 or 2 versions above 10.8.5. don't think i'll upgrade latest version of osx until leave. want create 2nd login user account on imac? or if app security measure creates private security opening besides me? possible delete user login account when i'm done hard drive space reverts original form. want install heavy duty apps adobe, video editing, sound editing, , more (not video games). web links or videos how welcome or comments down below. imac has enough ram handle work me, thank everyone.
 

your os upgrade option 10.11 unless downloaded 10.9 or 10.10. mavericks (10.9) , yosemite (10.10) no longer available download app store. apple removed mavericks app store when yosemite released. yosemite removed when el capitan released.
