iMac log in issue (PW autofill problem)


never had before, since installing el capitan:

when want log in after sleep, usual log in screen appears correct user info , blank password window.
then, touch key, auto fills password window large number of dots (not pw, shorter.
when erase these, same again touch key.
goes on , on...
remedy found power off keyboard , power on again. following can enter password , log in.

else seen this? suggestions?

got same issue , similar when typing in safari address bar. checked accessibility options , nothing in there, i'm @ loss.
