Reassociating/merging Aperture library with Photos: Help

i've done due diligence in reading through previous posts on topic, remain confused since haven't quite found previous posts regarding specific question/situation. here, goes.

when photos first came out yosemite, elected keep using aperture , main app. when first launched photos, said "no" aperture import process. in aperture part of library on mac , other referenced on external drive.

i've decided cut ties aperture (d*mn you, apple...) , go photos (and icloud storage). (i have tried warm lightroom, it's so...so...ugly).

currently, in photos, there folder titled "iphoto events" contains file structure looks same exists in aperture.

on questions:

[1] how tell photos import aperture library (since option isnt formally presented once launch photos first time)?

[2] since continued use aperture while, correct changes photos made there not reflected in "iphotos events" within photos?

[3] referenced photos in aperture, should -- within aperture -- first turn them managed photos (assuming sdd capacity -- before moving photos, or should leave them referenced , tell photos (by using "show referenced file in finder..." command.

(unnecessarily) arduous process... ;-)
