Time Machine backup to a router


i setup time machine use hdd connected asus wireless router. chose @ setup make encrypted backup drive doesn't seem ask me password until try mount sparse bundle named after mac. no password while connected router unless router password setup. normal?
 

yep... when encrypted tm backup on network real encryption storing backup files inside encrypted sparse bundle image. seeing normal.
