i wondering if guys think it's worth take applecare imac?

  • 27-inch imac retina 5k display
  • 3.3ghz quad-core intel core i5, turbo boost 3.9ghz
  • 8gb 1867mhz ddr3 sdram - 2 4gb
  • 512gb flash storage

  • magic mouse 2
  • magic keyboard (english) & user’s guide
  • accessory kit
179 bucks applecare doesn't seem outrageous compared whole price, still have year decide whether want take it. worth or money thrown away?

unfortunately don't find apple products reliable used to. in uk consumer law provides 2 years warranty , further cover if things go wrong after that. in experience apple quite here @ covering items, second year , third year. have had screen in 3 year old imac replaced free of charge. have bought new imac 5k, i7, 512gb , 4gb vram , have taken out apple care peace of mind. if things go wrong, expensive. original 24" imac has been running more or less continuously since bought , not thing has gone wrong it. 27' imacs have not been reliable :-(
