Pin-head charger lifespans = rapid wear & tear?


is me or latest pin-head chargers awful? i've gone through 2 far in less year.

old square-head 1 wore down after lot of travel wear , tear, never near point of contact laptop , after longer.

know it's not me see many around scotch tape around heads.

there trick avoiding or widespread problem?

i don't know if due debris or wear, found magsafe 2011 mbp disconnect way easily. yeah know that's point of magsafe, it's more of problem benefit 99% of time. traditional chargers better reason.
