Supporting Windows Quickbooks.......

at long last, have enough quickbooks clients consider this. of work done on client sites, rest done via remote logins (my preference).

had client wasn't able go further didn't own version of qb compatible his.

handed client has info entered once year, reports run, , sent off accountant. person on qb 2015 , have way around unethical (using else's machine few hours clients file).

i'm ready buy own version of qb can keep moving forward in business. except looks qb 2015 , 2016 require windows 7, , old desktop have sitting on floor has xp.

leaves me these options:
upgrade machine, i'd have buy full version of win 7 pro, under $150
buy refurbished laptop win 7 pro installed, under $150 (more attractive above option)
set 2015 rmbp run windows - how cost , how of drive space take up? (i have 250gb hard drive)

i'd love hear thoughts have travelled path before me!

thanks,
diane

i have mid 2010 imac27" use @ work. running qb 2016 on windows 10 via parallels 11 mac. have windows app run. both run fine.

did purchase both parallels , windows 10. $200 total.

it's worth: when first set up, used bootcamp partition running windows 8.1. when upgraded windows 10, moved parallels "folder". (i forget actual term.). allowed me reclaim disk space. can backups carbon copy cloner. opposed booting windows , using windows backup app.
