4GB of PC3-12800s vs 8GB pc3-10600s in a MacBook Pro


i have macbookpro9,1 , came (2) 2gb sticks of pc3-12800 total of 4gb.
friend gave me 8gb kit of pc3-10600s , installed , works!

question is: 8gb of 10600s give me better performance 4gb of 12800s?
 



if need >4gb...what ram pressure graph in activity monitor show?

if <need> >4gb 8gb of <slower> better 4gb of <faster>
