Good non-cloud accounting software?


hi. i'm looking accounting software app isn't cloud-based. i'm running perform 2 functions:
-track freelance/published work tax purposes.
-do accounting small publisher, tasked distributing sales revenue authors, editors, , parent company, along monitoring taxes , commissions.
suggestions? i'd go quickbooks, $200 price tag non-cloud version bit me. guess $100 acceptable limit. did search, of responses few years old, , i'm not sure if apply anymore.
