G5 Quad CPU Issues


so received g5 knowing have issue, turns out processor.

ran asd 2.6.3 , lock in middle of tests led #2 , #7 being illuminated, , freeze within ten minutes. know led2 cpu failure , led7 stopcheck light, , when booted under leopard each processor core within 10*f of cpu , b.

question is, processor toast , should replacement or should check lcs? cover off both pumps seemed feel same temperature , both pumps working. able keep thing on solid 45 minutes straight till turned off take home work.

i'd love repaste processors , try out unfortunately t handle screwdriver earlier g5s small quad :(
