Trouble conecting to Time Capsule

hi,

i'm pc man, general computery guy asked friend mac problem.

has moved new house, old setup 2 macs, desktop running osx 10.10.5 , laptop running osx 10.9.5 connected time capsule (i think wifi, he's not totally sure) , backed fine, not more.
in new house router (hgw-2501gn-r2 movistar fibre optic) on ground flour, , connected via lan cable 3 movistar routers @ being used access points, 1 each floor of house. time capsule downstairs along desktop mac. desktop mac backs absolutely fine no problem whatsoever whether connected via lan or wifi, laptop on other hand...........

@ first laptop refused see time capsule unless connected directly via lan cable, have got point can connect main router via wifi , when open airport utility displays internet green dot , time capsule green dot, go time machine, finds disk , says "preparing backup" , stays on ever , after while time capsule green dot changes time capsule yellow triangle. before green dot changes yellow triangle can open time machine , go through various dates , view original files, after changes yellow triangle when open time machine blank windows.

going wrong?

have enabled upnp in main router.
tried different access point, same.

desktop on "home" network location, , laptop "unknown" (? think, cant quite remember) created "home" location , did seem help. dont know locations do, if anything.

more think think laptop , nt network or routers

connect lan port on router wan port on time capsule , use airport utility set router mode under network tab "off - bridge mode".

should able see time capsule disk in finder on mac. open finder window , in sidebar under "shared". if not there, pull down finder menu preferences, click on sidebar tab , make sure "connected servers" ticked under "shared".

if using , antivirus program, should make sure time capsule excluded.

suggest next backup connecting ethernet. once backup, should able incremental backups wifi.

try leaving running overnight.

if still stuck on preparing backup, post here further instructions.
