In Middle of NB heatsink repair: have Q


i seeing high nb temperatures.
when purchased cmp told 1 of clips replaced bolt.

have removed 2 cpus , found 1 original clip broken , heatsink loose.

have ordered looks (based on name) correct replacement heatsink mount clips ebay larger.

please see attached photo:
l: metal bolt (no nut, think previous owner had tap cpu tray)
c: original clip broken off
r: new ebay replacement clips

when install them need mod them?

yours looks same size, can hard tell. there's picture in thread has measured ruler. measure yours , compare.
