iPad Pro Mini Review (Bad Speakers, Bad UI)

ok have had chance play ipad pro of day. have used in stand in conjunction apple bluetooth keyboard (from imac), on lap , in various different scenarios.

speakers

i expecting absolutely blown away after hype apple (no pun intended) , although speakers loud tablet , means louder tablet before it, don't carry wow factor, sound tinny , not pleasant on ears! have listened many different genres , none of them sound should. if you're expecting imac or macbook pro sound, let down! result still resort headphones or bluetooth speaker pleasurable audio experience , feel space in pro dedicated audio counter productive , have been better spent elsewhere, such battery , or quad core processor.

screen size

real estate on ipad pro it's easy forget you're using tablet. until realise can't 3 quarters of can on macbook! falls in line mainstream reviewers singing, screen size beautiful ios holds device being true pro contender. blown iphone, on regular sized ipad or mini portable enough sit comfortably on lap while lounge around on sofa or in bed, while offering more enjoyable experience smaller iphone screen in said scenarios. ipad have place in home , in heart feel web , email browsing experience unrivalled, full on imac, ipad pro trying it's not, , doesn't work.

operating system

main reason doesn't work ios, on screen size feels outright wasteful. size of home screen icons ridiculous, application switcher blown rather reworked take advantage of real estate , split screen multitasking interface looks silly. on screen size 1 expect app switcher more closely related mission control on mac , splitscreen interface resembles of it's older brother on os x. moving on functionality, obvious lack of user accessible file system via finder ios app , no external media accessibility make simplest of tasks impossible.

conclusion

ipad pro awkward sit comfortably leaving option work docked or laid flat on desk or table @ point wonder why you're not using laptop or imac. graphic design , artistic standpoint may complete opposite, can't speak on level i'm not artist or designer! have been waiting ipad pro years , 1 of few thought brilliant , revolutionary progression in ipad line, after using i'm left wanting more , feeling underwhelmed. can forgive wasted space on over hyped speakers, can forgive lack of force touch, can forgive dual core processor can't forgive ios being used in it's standard form on device.
