6S Battery Drains While Plugged In


even assuming (and past experience with) set of new devices means simultaneous downloading of apps, restore of data, sync (icloud et al), , spotlight indexing - i've never seen device drain while plugged in full power usb port.

new 6s sg 128gb barely charging when plugged in doing these tasks display off, , when being used while these tasks being done , plugged full power usb port drains more-than-just-a-bit-slowly-but-not-that-fast (tried many ports on many macbook pros, macbooks, , wall-outlets both aapl supplied , other up-to-5a rated ones).

know sure spec on max charge input , if there's been change in charge/usb/dc circuitry? i've loaded device down workload , use display @ full brightness before , still been able avoid draining battery while plugged in (e.g. draw usb powered without issue if wasn't charging battery), new situation usb draw not enough, more suspect change in charging ic or logic.

else experience or have hw info (haven't seen in teardowns yet).
