iPad Ipad air 2 switches off when alarm set?


hi all,
bug has appeared morning , i'm not sure if ipad air2 or ios 9.1 problem?
when set alarm on ipad air2, , comes time alarm go off, ipad switches off. have hold home button , sleep/wake button quite while ipad restart.
morning when woke alarm on ipad had not gone off ipad off , wouldn't come on sleep/wake button. i've tried , again when alarm goes off ipad switches off , requires restart - home button , sleep/wake button 10 seconds?
else seeing this??
