Disabling SMB protocol on client Mac's


hi guys

wondering if of help, want of our client mac's connect our servers via afp, shared folders , files set able connected via afp. client mac's still try connect via smb when open finder window, go shared , click on server , connect as.

there way can turn off ability connect server via smb client mac?

i can't replicate you're talking about.
mac defaults afp when connecting servers sharing both smb , afp.

problem sounds more server's zeroconf implementation not correctly announcing services has.
