Think my 2011 27" iMac is dying... advice?

when got 27" imac in may of 2011, top-of-the-line rig. 2 gb gpu, 1tb hdd, upgraded 12 gb of ram, works. she's had troubled history...

first, in 2013, had corruption in screen. covered apple care: dodged $500+ bullet.

then, in late 2014, gpu died. mine 1 of models serial number had faulty cards (radeon hd 6970m), took local td curran. replaced card (somehow still barely covered warranty) free, found out 6 months later they'd replaced 1 gb card instead of 2 gb card... took them month fix problem properly...

, now, recently, i've noticed imac seemingly @ random switch blue/black/blank screen on mac os side , windows bootcamp partition.

given history here, , fact warranty expired, i'm worried workhorse computer on last legs... , don't know do! saw thread on here how owc breath new life machine, wonder if it's time upgrade?

money kind of tight me , i'm considering switching pc (losing lot of faith in apple's ability make quality hardware/software these days) i'd first know if glued-together new imacs user-restrictive appear. advice on post-imac life?

my logic board had replaced in september. had same model purchased on launch day. logic board in 2008 macbook before had replaced well. notebooks , all-in-ones heat , have crappy heat dissipation given that's crammed such small space. when took imac in service, repair dude told me had seen plethora same problems. have no advice on post mac life, know aren't 1 in boat. i'm pretty techie person, don't know if have guts open imac myself shove in owc parts.
