i'm selling june 2012 15.4" retina macbook pro base model 2.3ghz i7/8gb/256gb on ebay i've got offer of $1000 + shipping. take offer? it's leave me $957 may counter $1050 put me closer $1000

i'm top rated seller , pay ebay store 20% discount on fees , usps shipping. i've been trying sell on craigslist hate dealing weirdo's , scam emails (could area :).

i've had macbook on 2 years, no applecare, 170 battery cycles. play steam games on it, , live without playing games. need retina display basic photo managing , editing ebay. don't see myself paying $2000+ newer 15" dedicated gpu. i'd rather steam machine if game

plan go refurb 2015 12" macbook 1.1ghz 8gb/256gb $1099 or wait month until after march 15th , see apple releases , use ipad air 2 , iphone 6s until then.

do? keep macbook pro until dies or take chance move on new?

since retina macbook pro's being updated, either in march or june, i'd wait until updated rmbp available.
new integrated graphics, intel iris pro 580, more powerful enough photo editing needs. won't have go out option dgpu (if apple still offers option, since iris pro 580 powerful)
in redesign can expect overall minor improvements, longer battery life etc etc.

so, if can wait out few more months, , able sell it, i'd go that. if need new laptop now, golden rule applies:
buy laptop when need
