WD My Book Disassembly?


i'm getting ready purchase wd book can extract 4tb drive upgrade 4th generation apple time capsule, model md032ll/a. i've looked @ quite few videos on youtube , getting hard drive out of book not problem, if don't mind breaking case. that's prefer avoid, if possible.

has removed hard drive wd book? if so, trick doing without breaking tabs secure case?

it easy without breaking tabs. have done 2 same reason cheaper buying standalone, go figure eh! careful , go easy @ small can find in thin screwdriver, flat piece of sturdy metal, when tab parts of casing matter of giving little more pressure parts nothing holds down. getting first side opened hardest have sort of slide case off rotating little have slide out of second side.

edit: , when @ tab parts see if can behind push inwards free up.
