d/l Gmail occassionally on iphone 5s but still want to get it in Mail on MB Pro


hi there. upgraded iphone 5s. on iphone 4, had ios6, download mail mail inbox on iphone , still on mb pro later. it's convenient. however, did today on iphone 5s, , mail on laptop thinks there's no new mail gmail messages fetch. hope explained enough. there way set mail on iphone download, duplicate, not primary?

response, appreciate it.
