First Mac, 2015 Macbook Pro Retina !

hey there everyone. purchased first macbook pro. ordered 13" macbook pro , planning upgrade hdd , ram when went store , seen retina display caved. went 13" 2.5ghz i5 16gb ram , 256gb ssd.

first experience wow ! thing runs dream. fast , smooth. simple little things scrolling , zooming when surfing web smooth. haven't got anywhere near testing capabilities of machine yet. bought sole purpose of audio production. next week hope running logic pro x , indulging in fun. right im busy xmas macbook. im getting loads of questions i'm sure won't take long effortlessly run os.

have few concerns hoping guys or gals clear up.

1. apparently theres no way of macbook if breaks , needs replaced ? true ? kind of reason gunning 2012 macbook got lost in retina display seen , couldn't resist bright colours , sharp picture quality.

2. how reliable these computers ? can expect thing last few years ? did purchase apple care warranty furred worth money considering cost of macbook.

3. battery use, going using computer @ desk when recording went macbook because travel lot work want portability well. ok leave these plugged in days weeks @ time or should regularly using battery don't ruin ? not sure how works can clear up.

4. ssds, thins i've read ssds can write , re write data x amount of times. should concerned or talking years here ?

sorry questions i'm pretty new lot of new technology. in advance help.

congratulations on new machine! have 13" retina macbook pro, though late 2013 , enjoy using it. glad hear did not choose go old 2012 model (apple should ashamed still selling machine 3.5 years later).

it possible change battery , ssd, not trivial used be. short answer yes, true cannot replace parts of soldered in place, except glued in battery , proprietary ssd.

in experience reliable. mentioned before have 2 year old model , performing when new. did not purchase applecare macbook , (unless happens in next 10 months) seems have been worth it. since got applecare have nothing worry next 3 years.

you should fine doing that. battery exercised once in while, sounds me it okay.

ssd's last longer hdd these days , have more read/write times spinning counterparts. should worry more having spinning drive in macbook ssd. in other words, have more reliable machine ssd compared hdd. take many years before ssd gives in.
