iPad Pro Padlette

a few weeks ago looking though different ipad cases on amazon trying find solution ipad pro, , came across company called padlette makes this:

thoughts after seeing nice solution ipad pro. since ipad pro heavy , unwieldy hold, make easier hold without adding significant weight cases do.

checked website, , found out there no padlette available ipad pro (yet). emailed them asking if going make one. late last week heard them indeed had produced black "padlette d3 pro" ipad pro, , purchase them directly $25 (including shipping). went ahead , ordered one.

received today, , i'm liking it. had luvvitt clear case (sold on amazon) , found weight made ipad pro heavy comfortably hold long periods of time. past month i've been using without case, i'm worried possibly dropping little slippery.

suppose still drop it, padlette makes easier hold , secure. hold way grip door knob right on apple logo on rear, , it's snug fit , there no way come loose on own. it's heavy duty rubber band.

bad thing can cover tiny bit of 2 of corners of screen, on rare occasion when using apps (in landscape mode), needed rotate ipad (to portrait mode) in order press button had been covered band. did not happen enough become annoying. think not issue on older ipads, , on newer ones because bezel around screen smaller.

pretty cool, seems such missed opportunity. why can't design covers 4 corners , offers bounce/drop protection, while still maintaining open design , light weight? seems if utilized corners wouldn't need have band covering screen that.
bit of lazy design here, they're going this...
