Is Magic Mouse/Mice Support Likely for iPads?

given apple's focus pro being in improving ipad experience productivity device , introduction of own keyboard, kind of hope open magic mouse support or bluetooth mice support in general ios?

don't me wrong multitouch great job of dealing scenarios cursor typically deal - (and others i'm sure) tasks infinitely better , and more enjoyable mouse , cursor. editing spreadsheets , presentations on ipad vastly more viable , enjoyable if had option use traditional keyboard , mouse set if required.

know lot of people 'get macbook' etc they're separate products. macbooks can't become tablets when needed or have access ios, nor have touch screen capabilities applications can benefit them. , unless you've got retina macbook vanilla ipad air 2 without accessories more portable if want device watch content on later on commuting etc.

after briefly using pro keyboard, it's amazing how nicer ios experience becomes small os x features sprinkled in - cmd+shift on ipad fantastic way of switching between apps example.

having cursor appear on os when mouse connected , have cursor fade after 10 seconds of non-movement (naturally reappear mouse jiggle) stop cursor becoming invasive on screen estate , improve potential of os.

while appreciate there few purely using ipads consumption feel if apple serious extending ipad range's value round workhorse , potential laptop replacement, giving these options lot convince users give go day day tasks.

know there's bit of stick 'why' regarding mouse - physical mouse has value physical keyboard, , many find having external keyboard tasks note tasking , general daily use can dramatically improve experience. again, having choice never bad thing , can improve our experience.

imagine ipad air 3, 3gb of ram, 3d touch, pencil, keyboard , mouse support - it's become serious option want 'covers bases' device majority of tasks.

well thought out post. tend agree you. find ipp laking replacing basic laptop standard office application. doubt until apple feels real threat mba, mb , mbp market tablets not move on this. think implementation of ms surface pro 4 keyboard , trackpad perfect. though smart keyboard ands significant bulk without trackpad. of course once jailbreak comes out should able use mouse though not jb fan.
