Best replacement for an old white MB


my wife's mb has something wrong it. periodically beachball of doom no reason, , becomes unresponsive lengthy periods. suspect memory issue, don't know how debug that, , faster machine nice anyway.

minor issue put 500 gb drive in because takes lots of pictures. so, ideally, i'd move drive new machine.

so, machine should @ replace white plastic model, still has hd bay can at?
