OSX 10.8 Server Internet Issues

strange issue osx 10.8.5 "no longer connecting server" after upgrading server.app 2.2.5 it's previous version.

when reboot, can launch server.app using dns server name , connects , functions normally, , can use safari , hit web sites. after undefined amount of time, can't connect via server.app unless put "localhost" server address, , safari stops resolving connections websites.

can ping gtwy, our enterprise dns servers , website addresses. confirmed none of networks setting changed during upgrade, , file sharing service still running screen sharing working. reset com.apple.servermgrd certificate expired.

i'd appreciate suggestions on troubleshooting...tnx
