Should I keep ipad pro 32GB or buy Surface Pro 3 i3 64GB?

i bought 32gb ipad pro, laptop broken. :( i'm light user (90% web browsing/movies/youtube + use phone lot of stuff) need usb port plug in printer, sd slot transfer pictures or dvd drive watch redbox. don't have desktop - cheapie windows laptop, ipad pro , iphone 6s.

happened see today microsoft have surface pro i3 on sale $499. seems fair deal, i've never looked surface lineup.

can surface kill 2 birds 1 stone being laptop , tablet? or....should keep ipad (which nice) , save laptop later...maybe air or mbp?

tablet browsing , movies - how surface compare ipad? good? think work else compared macbook air?

wallet urging me spend $500 have device may need. i'm sort of minimalist if 1 device can replace 2 devices that's sort of bonus.

error in thinking?

just depends on , make happy. there lot of tried surface pro kill 2 birds 1 stone , have in 1 device realize, surface laptop doubles crappy tablet. apps surface tend not touch friendly , suck, battery life isn't greatest , fans kick in making hot. not mention windows isn't tightly integrated ios , os x.

personally? dumped retina macbook 15 , got ipad pro , getting mac mini few times might need sub port or something. thinking getting macbook awhile felt might overkill considering i'll barely use it. base model retina macbook $1300 vs used mac mini 400
