3D Touch Confusions


i got 6s , love 3d touch. however, 2 things bit puzzling me, i'd hear other people's experiences.

1. 3d touch sensitivity setting seems nothing. if try hard enough can feel difference. but, basically, takes same amount of force activate things. press lightly, set light. confuses me firm sensitivity requires same light touch. had same "issue" magic trackpad 2 - can detect difference bit easier there, still feels practically same. me?

2. multitasking 3d touch. love feature , learned how press still wrong time time , won't work. gathered, if phone registers touch gesture (like, if can swiped near border) won't activate multitasking press. trick press edge between screen , bezel , somehow slide thumb towards screen. can of time, little pressure, times feel need press hard (especially apple case on phone). hard? (and in case, checked on several phones in store, "difficulty" same)
