"Clean" an Xcode project?


i started noticing our drive space disappearing @ alarming rate. on checking size of of our project directories, tiny projects running greater 800mb.

there command can use "clean" 1 of these projects after development done? looks lot of tmp files.

well, yes, there the, er, "clean" command. in current xcode, it's shift-command-k.

additionally, might consider doing do-- keep source files , build files separate. default xcode creates "build" directory inside current project folder, source files are. makes no sense me.

adjust "build projects path" in project's build settings go disposable location; in case have entire partition of drive devoted temporary files, so, mykillerapp, build files generated in "volumes/temp/builds/mykillerapp".
