tedious brother printer configuration, mac os x 10.11.1.

setup software brother fubar. set using lcd display, , tediously entering passphrase , down arrows, scroll (almost) through ascii character set. open curly bracket character (ascii 123 decimal) shows blank on lcd display, fine gotcha!

not accept wifi passphrase longer 61 characters.

assigned fixed ip (via lcd interface) of xyz.xyz.xyz.xyz (but set dhcp reservation mac address).

set iphone side iphone printing, after downloading iphone app.

use web based utility manage printer –> point browser @ ip address of printer.

oh, wasted hours.
 

instead of wpa maximum of 63 characters?
