Can you display steps on watch face?


i have garmin vivoactive thinking switching apple watch. counting steps big deal me , deal breaker on whatever watch keep. garmin shows steps on watch face , 1 of main reasons watch.

i've looked around haven't found clear cut answer. can apple watch display steps on watch face? know there pedometer apps out there supposedly better health app wouldn't require several steps see information? want able glance @ watch , see steps right away.
