No flashlight in camera mode but yes in video?


my iphone 6 ios 8 turn on led in dark situations know focus , compose. i.e.; turns on flash light. nice seeing weird angles (under tables).
on 6s 9.1 doesn't work. flash can set on no light until press shutter turns on, trys focus, gets brighter , takes image, oof. :/
noticed though video mode supports on time??!
missing or bug??
