Old exported playlist (files) won't import correctly to library mainly based on iCloud music library


hi friends,

scenario:
  1. exported regular (manually built) playlist itunes library referenced locally stored mp3s.
  2. subscribed apple music.
  3. built new itunes library 90% apple tunes provided music via adds itunes music library (not via itunes match).
  4. imported saved playlist (.xml) new library knowing @ least songs exist old library.
  5. imported playlist totally empty.
again, of songs in new library (with status apple music or uploaded) appears itunes not recognizing playlist songs present in new library.

removed <location> tag playlist xml did not make difference.

know reason behind or potential workaround? hate have rebuild these playlists manually.

itunes version: 12.3.1.23.
