Any audio people here?

i got pioneer receiver around mid late 70s , works except turntable. got 2 speakers it. thing is, speakers rca, , outputs rca. dumb ass little me takes alligator clamp, clamps output , clamps other end 1 of better speakers wire's. of course, didn't work. rca out sparked , can't audio channel w/ original speakers. other channel works fine, didn't blow amp. have no idea happened, google comes 0 results. receiver sounds incredible , looks incredible, i'd hate 1 kill it.
can here give me advice?

nothing smells or looks blown, wires seem intact. left channel works, right channel broken one, can still sorta heard when cranking volume way up.
if worse comes worse, have few av stores around me may able repair it. once bought receiver goodwill , has av repair centre's phone number on back, they're in akron. give them call.

so looking again, using different keywords. seems blew right channel. i'm thinking, redo wiring jack , re-solder? or run deeper that?
