Backing up photos


i use photo stream automatically upload photos mac. thinking of using icloud photo library instead everywhere i'm nervous if 1 gets deleted goes of them including cloud.

if tell photos save mac, photos included in time machine backup? , photo files stored can manually copy external drive if want to?

use dropbox auto upload main backup considering using icloud library instead cancel dropbox plan more expensive
 

yes, will.

in home folder>pictures>photos library.

however, photos library file package. inside, ctrl/click or 2 finger click , choose, "show package contents. careful though, if mess around inside there, can corrupt photos.
