Secondary display (TV) making main display blink


i have dual monitor setup on mac mini - main display connected via thunderbolt dvi adapter.
secondary display tv connected directly hdmi out.

i've upgraded tv , facing strange issue. everytime tv using hdmi input (cable or playstation) mac's main display blinks, solid black screen similar occurs when 1 changes monitor's resolution. 2 black screens in quick succession, all's around 15 seconds , cycle repeats.

clicking display icon in menu bar noticed sony tv listing disappears after first blink , reappears after second blink (a second or later). basically, mini ceases see tv every 15 seconds , detects again.

tried playing power settings on tv, , on mac side tried turning mirroring off. disabled sony tv on mac using third party utility no avail. thing works unplugging hdmi cable mac.

if else fails i'll hdmi switch can use disable tv's hdmi when not in use dirty solution. didn't have such issue on earlier bravia (a 32" model, current tv 40"). ideas welcome.

edit: have 10 meter hdmi cable, replacing 5 meter high speed cable help?
 

does issue occur hdmi cable?

had issue before , turned out bad hdmi cable.

Help please Strange logs
