Apple Releases Third Beta of tvOS 9.1 to Developers

apple today seeded third beta of upcoming update tvos, new operating system runs on fourth-generation apple tv. today's beta comes on 1 week after apple seeded second tvos 9.1 beta , 3 weeks since tvos was released alongside fourth-generation apple tv.

third tvos beta available over-the-air update have installed first 2 betas. installing initial tvos beta more involved process installing beta update ios or os x. update requires apple tv connected computer usb-c usb-a cable, software downloaded , installed via itunes.

don't yet know included in new version of tvos, changes far appear under-the-hood updates. apple's release notes update include references networking , scrolling tweaks, , it's tvos 9.1 include fixes bugs , issues have been discovered in software since apple tv's official launch. include other external facing changes below.

tvos 9.1 mark first significant update tvos , second update operating system. first tvos update, tvos 9.0.1, released public on november 9.
