New Macbook buyer for school,NEEDS HELP!


hello everyone, i'm new forum , looking buy first macbook school use next year. thinking of getting baseline 128gb 13" pro (?or recommend 256gb 4gb ram 13" macbook air?) apparently rumor seems there new redesign next year? clarify me , if me wait? school starts in february , prepared use current dell inspiron 14 7000 series , hold off couple of months if there major redesign, not small processor upgrade.
p.s don't know computers appreciated , live in australia if changes anything! :)
 

a couple of months might not take new model territory. buying nice christmas present , transitioning osx before major usage starts. people used apple computers work, osx works in lots of different ways windows, there learning curve.

would, , did, avoid air because of poor display , weedier processor. best spec can sound advice, , in regard there's no such thing ram.
