Performed Bootcamp for the first time and I am completely in over my head

hello everyone,

never posted before , don't know of guys, kindly ask guidance , help. have been absolutely isolated technology majority of life family poor afford nice things. saw scrappy old computers in class soggy , partially scratched off 2001 stickers on them. when got scholarship in university in foreign country aunt donated me macbook air 2015 edition 3 weeks ago ( had no pick or choice in model, wasn't expecting tbh ) desperately needed work on. have been fond of learning things in department never had real access. wanted use opportunity , try install ios, windows , linux on maybe learn thing or 2 programming across these different platforms. sadly went deep without knowing got myself into. troubles begin. in process of running boot camp install windows 8.1 pro managed partition hard drive, sadly missing several drivers e.g.:

• base system device
• ethernet controller
• multimedia controller
• pci data acquisition , signal processing controller
• pci simple communications controller
• sm bus controller, virtual 61883 class bus device

college roommate has second scrappy lenovo laptop isn't using let me borrow while fixing predicament ( don't have internet download such drivers on mac ). far have installed of drivers external hard drive had .iso , drivers from, tried copy 11 different drivers across internet, on usb stick, none of them resolving issue me. on top of boot camp button supposed in toolbar on bottom right-hand side corner won't appear me. should allegedly appear in control panel windows, can't find there either, leaving me questioned how switch ios. under computer when check hard drive, still displays me partitioned part have set of 30 gb, didn't take on entire hard drive, leaving me believe ios version still exists. bringing me 2 final questions, can find appropriate drivers access things through networks , have internet , how switch ios?.

you're situation isn't bad actually. os x (apple's os shipped mac) reboot or shut down , hold down "option" key during startup. able select drive want boot keyboard , return key or mouse.

windows 8.1 working in boot camp need boot camp drivers. boot camp have download them , put them on flash drive during install. if not can still download them separately after boot in os x. need internet connection work.

drivers can download separately going windows 7. windows 8.1 drivers available though boot camp assistant application on os x. now, i'm sure there's way grab them outside of it, haven't dug deep.
