Staingate - Yes another thread!


so have 2015 rmbp purchased few months back, has had little use , in condition...

now, in time have had machine once have needed clean screen. had small fingerprint in corner few weeks after purchase used microfibre cloth (dry) came rmpb.

give keyboard wipe after use dry microfibre cloth ( courtesy of specsavers :) ). after seeing staingate threads , photos, figure in case right! ;)

morning, not having used week or open , find in middle of screen appears greasy imprint of of keys on display! :eek:

won't lie, panic set in... machine cost me £1400 or so! having owned loads of laptops in past never needed babying thinking lots of nasty apple thoughts. going grab iphone , take photo's , post them here thought hang on, calm down...

went , got microfibre cloth (apple supplied one) , wet water (and water), wiped screen in light , mean light circular motion , screen new again. can't believe it, thought screwed!
 

i have frustration :confused:.... check screen fingerprints or grease stains. clean screen wipes glasses...it works great , cleans well. no problems far on rmbp mid 2012.
curious if every model has problem. if there risk @ every model have "staingate".
how clean screen ?
