Chcharging using a vehicle utility plug USB adapter


there has been lots of discussion charging iphones & ipads using wall chargers. lots of talk how chargers put out current & devices limit charging current.

ok, how usb adapters plug cigarette lighter outlet. guess nowadays called utility outlets. anyway 12 vdc outlet in dash;)

how power provided thru these?

, how long takes drag car battery down point noticeable when starting vehicle?

 

it varies usb plug. have dual 12w usb plugs in outlets in jeep grand cherokee. have plenty of power plugs passengers or devices use. in dash usb plugs weak work in pinch. know sounds crazy between factory installed usb ports , usb plugs have 9 usb ports in car
