Apple SIM


i had weird occurrence week.

hadn't updated cc info after getting new card new expiration date. got email said renewal failed. logged in on phone , updated cc info 40 minutes before unlimited plan expired.

well, when 40 minutes cellular data went dead. did troubleshooting. nothing helped.

night, spent 2 hours on chat , tech support. apparently, sim refused update, , needed new sim.

went att store, replaced sim. employee helped me indicated there have been several cases apple sim had issues.

don't know whether getting close end of plan contributed. first renewal after transitioning plan old ipad mini 4.
 

it's not apple sim how accounts handled on end between apple , carriers.
