TRIM rules. Just fixed my Mini's poor SSD speeds!

got crucial m4 256gb ssd in 2011 mac mini.

it's been in there years past year or i've had consistent shockingly bad speeds: max 50mb/s write, ~75mb/s read. i've had trim off since yosemite or whichever os disabled third party trim support.

upgraded el cap , used "sudo trimforce enable" command in terminal. deleted few unused apps totalling 5-6gb, waited few mins, ran blackmagic speed test again , bam! 265mb/s write, 498mb/s read.

far cry newer apple pcie ssd speeds happier considering older speeds. read degraded performance on time without trim 75mb/s read 500!? thought machine getting old, didn't know simple command bring life.

helps else poor speeds on fence enabling trim.

curious did use speed test? freeware?
