iCloud Drive...


i have new mac book 1tb of local storage, running 10.11.3 , iphone 6 running latest ios

upgraded 1tb icloud drive storage option icloud photo library pretty large.



i'm trying accomplish having files , items synced across devices - getting imac 1tb of storage , have same.



said, there way sync desktop, documents, downloads, icloud drive when sign imac have files in place , vice versa? or have reference icloud drive > , specific folders in there if want have access same file/folders within them on each device....
 

no, not possible. dropbox it's possible add symbolic links dropbox folder other folders, doesn't work icloud drive (at least couldn't work).
yes. however, i'd not recommend keep copies of documents in icloud drive (or other sync service). if file deleted mistake on 1 computer or device, deleted on others. if don't make regular backups location outside of synced folders, it's easy lose files good.

1 option may want consider sync document folder icloud drive folder using additional tool (from can sync on other computers). if feel comfortable shell, can automate using script , rsync command.
