New Mac 512k owner (with a few queries)

hi guys,
given mac 512k i'm told had been stored in lockup number of years. no original box or software floppies, have original keyboard , mouse.
first thing noted battery had been left in compartment - , leaked! on removing it, 1 of battery terminal lugs fell apart due corrosion. (photo 2 attached).
i've removed both logic , power board, both of fortunately appear free battery spillage or contamination. unfortunately same can't said metallic frame power board attaches to, has suffered acid spillage , corrosion - of can removed use of wire brush. (photos 3 & 4 attached).
have removed , disassembled floppy drive, disk-carriage mechanism of had seized up. nylon gears looked ok, , after thorough cleaning , re-application of grease, gears & mechanism appear operate smoothly hand. floppy drive sony, model oa-d34v-22 understand 400k.
regarding drive, note on motherboard roms marked:
"rom-lo" "342-0221-a"
"rom-hi" "342-0220-a"

- 1st query: floppy model oa-d34v-22 (400k) compatible 'a' suffix roms?
reading mactec68's excellent info provided in previous thread (july 22/2015 #2), advises that, "earlier "-a" roms compatible "oa-d34v" drive." seem suggest floppy , rom's on mac incompatible. true?
-my 2nd query: damaged battery holder capetronic, model ds 1011. (photo 1 attached). can find no on-line reference part number. idea on can find identical replacement, or similar battery holder suit?
-my 3rd query: after brush clean-up of power-board metallic frame, best way further protect surface prior refitment?

you know, i've realized maybe panel-beater/vehicle body repairer might able use sandblaster rid of corrosion tiny fee.

second, that's not part number of battery holder - , i'm trying find it. iirc, originals re-worked wire, , battery contacts come out of holder, @ least, might possible find reasonably suitable battery contact replacement.

roms, if that's noted, noted in original apple tech data - don't recall if it's major incompatibility or not. more come (hopefully).

edit: battery holder plastic part custom apple mold. p/n 815-0727-b
contacts stamped "apple" , seem p/n 5046-06 (-ve terminal) , 5045-06 (+ve terminal). whilst plastic holder reusable, nearest type of contact can find not tall enough. might able fashion similar thin steel , use short lengths of wire solder contacts pcb.
